Alrinast 5 mg tablets contain 5 mg desloratadine per tablet, and this pack contains 20 tablets. The Albanian patient leaflet lists Alrinast for relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms such as sneezing, nasal irritation or discharge, and irritated, red or watery eyes. It also lists urticaria symptoms such as itching, swelling and redness.

Directions for Alrinast 5 mg tablets

For adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over, the leaflet states one Alrinast 5 mg tablet once daily. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food. The treating doctor determines how long treatment should continue. This 5 mg tablet leaflet does not list use for children under 12 years.

Alrinast tablet precautions and storage

Do not use Alrinast if you are allergic to desloratadine, loratadine or any ingredient. The leaflet advises caution with kidney impairment and says not to take the medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding; ask a doctor or pharmacist if these cautions apply. The tablets contain lactose. Dizziness has been reported very rarely; do not drive or use machinery if affected. Store below 25°C, protected from moisture, in the original pack and out of children's reach. Always follow the leaflet supplied with your pack.
