Rokivit D3 is a food for special medical purposes containing vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). Each capsule supplies 28,000 IU (700 µg) of vitamin D3. The manufacturer describes it for the dietary management of medically confirmed vitamin D deficiency. Use it under medical supervision; it is not a general daily multivitamin.

How to take Rokivit D3

The manufacturer’s directions are one capsule swallowed with sufficient fluid once a week for adults and adolescents aged 11–17. For children aged 1–10, the leaflet specifies one capsule every two weeks. Because each capsule is a high-strength 28,000 IU dose, a healthcare professional should supervise use and confirm the appropriate schedule, especially for children. Do not use the weekly adult/adolescent schedule for younger children. Do not exceed the prescribed or pack directions.

Vitamin D3 and ingredients

Vitamin D contributes to normal calcium and phosphorus absorption and to the maintenance of normal blood calcium, bones, teeth, muscle function and immune function. One pack contains 8 capsules. The ingredients listed by the manufacturer are cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), sunflower oil, gelatine and glycerine. Since the capsule contains gelatine, it is not a vegetarian capsule.
