Fenistil Gel 0.1%, 20 g

Topical antihistamine gel containing dimetindene maleate 1 mg per gram. It is used for local relief of itching associated with skin reactions such as insect bites, hives, minor sunburn and superficial burns. The gel is described by the manufacturer as cooling and free from alcohol, perfume and colourants.

Use and cautions

Apply only as directed in the local package leaflet. Do not apply to large areas, mucous membranes, or broken or severely inflamed skin. Avoid prolonged sun exposure on treated areas. Do not use in newborn or premature infants; use in children aged 1 month to 2 years requires medical supervision. Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve within 7 days.
