Fastum Gel 2.5% ketoprofen for localized muscle and joint pain

Fastum Gel contains ketoprofen, a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine. Each 100 g contains 2.5 g ketoprofen; this listing is for a 50 g tube. The leaflet describes use for localized pain and inflammation affecting muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints. Read the patient leaflet supplied with your pack before use.

How to use Fastum Gel

Apply only to the affected skin and follow the directions and treatment duration in your pack leaflet or from a healthcare professional. Wash hands after applying unless hands are being treated. Do not cover the area with an airtight dressing.

Important precautions

Protect the treated skin from sunlight and UV during treatment and for two weeks after stopping; cover it with clothing and avoid sunbeds. Do not apply to eyes, mouth or other mucous membranes, genital or anal areas, open wounds, broken or infected skin, or eczema. Stop use and seek advice if a rash or other skin reaction develops. Do not use in the last three months of pregnancy. Check the leaflet for all contraindications, interactions and side effects.
