Pharmactive Nimokain 1% + 5% Gel, 50 g

Nimokain is a topical gel containing nimesulide 1% and lidocaine 5% in a 50 g tube. The official leaflet lists it for lumbago, osteoarthritis, periarthritis, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, and soft-tissue or joint injuries such as sports-related sprains and strains.

Directions

Unless a doctor advises otherwise, apply gently to the affected area three or four times daily. Do not rub in forcefully, cover or bandage the area, or use it with other topical medicines. For external use only. Ask a doctor about the treatment duration.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to an ingredient, or if aspirin or another NSAID has caused asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, angioedema or nasal polyps. Do not use during the first or last three months of pregnancy; during other pregnancy stages, use only if a doctor decides. Use while breastfeeding is not recommended; ask a doctor or pharmacist, and do not apply it to the breast before nursing. Do not use in children under 12. Avoid the eyes, mucous membranes, infected skin, underarms and open wounds. Read the official leaflet before use.
