Deep Heat

Mentholatum Deep Heat Heat Rub is a topical warming cream for muscular aches and stiffness. The manufacturer lists methyl salicylate, menthol, eucalyptus oil and turpentine oil as active ingredients. How to use Deep Heat Heat Rub

Use only on the skin. Adults and children over 5 years can massage a thin layer into the affected area two or three times daily. Wash your hands immediately after applying, unless treating the hands. Follow the leaflet supplied with your tube and do not apply more often than directed.

Warnings and precautions

• Do not use on broken, infected or inflamed skin, or in children under 5 years.
• Do not use if you are allergic to an ingredient or to painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have asthma, or take other regular medicines.
• Stop using and seek advice if excessive irritation or an unwanted reaction occurs.
