🧴 Description
ALGOFREN® 200 mg by InterMed is a fast-acting non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing ibuprofen, a derivative of propionic acid known for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins—natural chemicals responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever.

This OTC medication is suitable for the relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and joint or muscle pain. It also helps reduce fever and manage symptoms related to rheumatic conditions, including gout and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

• ✅ Headache, toothache, menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)

• ✅ Rheumatic and musculoskeletal pain

• ✅ Juvenile chronic rheumatoid arthritis

• ✅ Gout-related inflammation

• ✅ Fever and flu-like pain symptoms

💡 How to Use
➡️ Adults and children over 12 years: Take 200–400 mg every 6–8 hours, as needed.
➡️ Do not exceed 1200 mg per day unless directed by a physician.
➡️ Take with food or water to reduce gastric discomfort.

Always read the enclosed leaflet before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

⚠️ Warnings & Contraindications
❗ Do not use ALGOFREN® if:

• You have an active or recurring peptic ulcer or history of GI bleeding

• You are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs

• You are in the third trimester of pregnancy or breastfeeding

• You have severe liver, kidney, or heart failure

• You are under 3 months of age or weigh less than 6 kg

• You are taking other NSAIDs or aspirin concurrently

➡️ Use with caution if you have Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, blood disorders, or are on any medication that may increase bleeding risk.
