It provides

• Iron supports the normal formation of red blood cells and the normal transport of oxygen in the body. The requirement doubles during pregnancy.
• Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
• Magnesium contributes to the normal energy metabolism and the normal function of the nervous system and muscles.
• Vitamin C supports the normal function of the immune system and, together with vitamin E, helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
• Vitamin B1 and vitamin B2, nicotinamide and pantothenic acid support normal energy metabolism.
• Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein metabolism.
