Aboca Melilax Pediatric, 6 × 5 g

Melilax Pediatric is a medical device supplied as six disposable 5 g micro-enemas for infants and children from birth to 6 years. Aboca indicates it for occasional or chronic constipation and difficult or painful evacuation. The Promelaxin complex combines selected honeys with polysaccharides from aloe vera and mallow.

Age-based use

• Infants under 1 year: half of one 5 g micro-enema as needed.
• Children aged 1 to 3 years: one 5 g micro-enema as needed.
• Children aged 3 to 6 years: one 5 g micro-enema as needed; if constipation persists, the official instructions state that two doses may be applied consecutively.

For easier application, Aboca recommends positioning the child on the left side with knees bent. Follow the package leaflet for rectal use. Each micro-enema is single-use and must not be reused, even if only half was administered. If symptoms persist, contact a doctor or pharmacist.
