A baby's bath routine does not need many products. The priorities are a comfortable temperature, gentle handling and formulas designed for delicate skin.
Keep the Routine Simple
Prepare everything before the bath so the baby is never left unattended. Use comfortably warm water and keep bath time short. For cleansing, choose a mild baby wash, cleansing oil or gel suited to sensitive skin.
After the Bath
Pat the skin dry rather than rubbing. Pay attention to skin folds and the diaper area. If the skin feels dry, a baby moisturizer or emollient can help maintain comfort. For the diaper area, use a protective cream when needed.
Sensitive and Atopic-Prone Skin
Fragrance-free or very gentle cleansing products can be useful when the skin is dry or reactive. If redness, persistent irritation or a rash is significant, seek advice from a pediatrician or pharmacist rather than adding more products.
